Shins and Boots is a Football Show based on YouTube and Facebook. We worked with their team from 2015 to 2020 to raise the profile of the show through branding, marketing, and content development by way of filming, directing, and co-producing the show.
The first thing we did was design a logo for the show to give it a central visual identity. The logo takes its cue from the name of the show, using the equipment elements to form the backdrop of the typography.
As a key feature of the intro for the show, the logo was animated in a 4-second sequence.
In producing the show for the online platforms, we gathered footage after each filming and pieced together each episode. Using Adobe’s Premiere Pro CC in tandem with After Effects, produced each episode on a weekly basis. Each episode needed custom lower thirds for guests and presenters.
While working with the Shins N Boots team we designed various elements for them as needed such as team profiles, event advertisements, and social media branding.
Throughout our engagement with the show we filmed, directed and edited footage, hosted live events during championship and World Cups, planned content schedules and managed the development of the Shins N Boots brand.
The show’s founder, Kevin, got the opportunity to host several watch parties around the 2018 World Cup at the Embassy of Argentina under the patronage of the ambassador at the time H.E. Gustavo Martinez Pandiani, a relationship which we helped to manage.
